Dereje has worked at Sabahar since 2010 in the dye departement. He was one of five Sabahar employees who attended Kaizan training. Kaizan is a Japanese approach for an organization’s long-term competitive strategy. The training included modules on leadership, safety, organization, and collective responsibility. Dereje is now a Kaizan leader and coordinates all Kaizan thinking and subsequent activities within the dye department. The training has helped him to be a leader within his department.
