Menged handwoven Ethiopian cotton table runner

The design in this eco friendly, Fair Trade table runner is made by handpicking the warp and weft to create contrasting, crisscrossing lines. The runners are made of Ethiopian hand spun cotton. Each of these runners is unique because the crisscrossing design is done by different weavers in a different way each time. The runners are finished with tied fringes. "Menged" means road in Amharic. The white lines run these runners represent the many ways to get from one place to another.
