What makes Sabahar bath products different?
All of our bath products are 100% natural, breathable, and gentle on the skin. Sabahar offers the only towels on the market made with hand-spun cotton, a rare and labour-intensive technique that gives each towel its unique softness, texture, and durability.
How are they made?
Every step from dyeing to spinning to weaving is done entirely by hand. Each piece is woven using traditional Ethiopian techniques. Some are made on four-harness looms for added texture and absorbency; others feature intricate hand-picked patterns passed down through generations. All are machine washable, quick-drying, and designed for daily use.
Who makes them?
Sabahar is a fair trade, women-owned business that has been operating for over 20 years. We provide fair wages, safe working conditions, and long-term employment to over 100 artisans in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
